WNBA Finals is Fantastic!

WNBA FinalsJust in case you didn’t know, the WNBA Finals will kick off tonight with the Phoenix Mercury playing host to the Indiana Fever at the US Airways Center. The Mercury are lead by All-Star offensive standouts Diana Taurasi and Cappie Pondexter while Defensive Player of the Year Tamika Catchings holds the Fever down. For Indiana, it’s their first time ever making it to the big dance although Phoenix has been here twice in the last three years, winning it all in 2007. Nevertheless, both teams have something to prove and plenty to lose. Be there.

Tip off is at 9pm EST on ESPN2

I don’t understand how women’s college basketball is so big fans don’t support this league.

I don’t watch WNBA basketball as much as I would like to but Phoenix is without question the team to beat.

These Finals has been much better than anticipated. Each game has been fun and exciting to watch. Its looking like Indiana is going to pull off the upset…who would have thought the lowest scoring team in the WNBA would have been able to defeat the highest scoring team in the league. EXPECT GREAT is finally meaning something.
