Chalk up one more on the list of reasons to love Estelle. The Brit songstress teamed up with Belvedere Vodka and shoe designer Jonathan Kelsey to design a fly overnight bag that has a special addition: a pocket for a bottle of booze! That’s fly and functional if we ever saw it.  Estelle was in New York City Wednesday night for a dual celebration; the release of the bag and Belvedere’s new Black Raspberry vodka.  Cocktails like the Belvedere Black Raspberry Cup (Black Raspberry vodka, honey syrup, fresh mint, Moet & Chandon Nectar Champagne) and the Belvedere Orange Mule (Orange vodka with fresh lemon, bitters and ginger beer) flowed and Estelle and Jonathan worked the room full of fashion and media folks.

Here’s the lowdown on the bag:

Created for a girl on the go, The Belvie bag is crafted from the finest buttery-soft white leather.  The inside is gorgeous raspberry magenta, courtesy of Jonathan Kelsey’s signature hand-dip dyeing process. It sports a secret compartment that can fit a bottle of Belvie-or whatever you may need to keep from prying eyes.  The limited edition bag will retail for $1,400 and you’ll be able to cop one at Jeffrey in NYC

And of course the vodka:

picture-1Black Raspberry is part of Belvedere’s new line of macerated vodkas.  It may sound severe, but it’s actually the process of flavoring the vodka naturally.  For the Black Raspberry edition, Belvedere chose to combine plump raspberries, currant and rose water.  The flavors are drawn out slowly out during the month-long maceration process.  This allows for a vodka truly flavored by the fruit and not by added sugar, flavor essences or colors.  Perfectly timed for a spring launch, Belvedere Black Raspberry has rich raspberry jam nose, with soft, floral palate and bright berry notes.  If you’re a flavored vodka fan, this could be your new go-to for the spring and summer season.
